When Ms. Rambo, 4th grade teacher at Camden's Pride, walked into the school to get her classroom ready for the new school year, she was met by a hallway full of cheering people.
"All my coworkers are standing there...in the hallway clapping for me, and I thought, what is going on," she said. Then
76ers legend, Marc Jackson, led her into her classroom.
To Ms. Rambo's astonishment, the Philadelphia 76ers along with Campbell's,
gave her classroom an official 76ers makeover for the school year complete with a basketball bean bag chair, banners, pennants, and a mini basketball hoop!
"I had no idea," Ms. Rambo said. "I'm completely blow away! It just means the world to me. I never thought I'd experience something like this."
Last school year, Ms. Rambo won a contest for 76ers playoff tickets, and while the whole school knows that she is one of the team's biggest fans, her students come first.
"I'm not really even thinking of myself at this moment," she said. "I'm thinking that my kids are going to walk in this classroom, and they're going to be so excited, and they're going to be like 'let's do this year.'"
Ms. Rambo also won tickets to an upcoming game and received a basket full of Campbell’s products.
Thanks to the 76ers and Campell's for the fast break and slam dunk into the new school year.
