Students gather in our schools every day within a community of friends. Teachers engage students in meaningful ways, supporting one another both in and outside of the classroom. Our students appreciate the lasting friendships they make with their classmates and their teachers. Teacher-student relationships and peer support are integral to the Camden's Promise experience.

Parents of Camden's Promise students see their children grow intellectually, develop self-confidence, experience their world directly, and become part of a vibrant and caring community. From orientation through graduation, parents bring their wisdom, leadership, expectations, and energy to our family community. They are our partners in providing their children a safe place to experience the rewards of daily student life and with opportunities to make positive contributions to our world. The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) hosts events, welcomes new families and helps sustain the parent network, and helps the school grow through a wide variety of efforts.

Students, parents, alumni, faculty, and staff often report that the best thing about Camden's Promise is the sense of family and community at their school. Because it is important to so many people, our school system works hard to encourage a safe, supportive, respectful environment where everyone can be themselves and contribute.
