Congratulations to the Class of 2020

Virtual Graduation

Dear Camden Academy Charter High School,

On Friday evening, May 8th, all New Jersey schools received a directive from the state government to plan for a virtual ceremonies for the remainder of this school year, including high school graduation ceremonies. The directive, linked here, cited Governor Murphy’s executive orders requiring social distancing and school closure, and an order from the Office of Emergency Management that further clarifies restrictions on gatherings and activities at schools.

Therefore we are in the process of developing plans for a virtual graduation ceremony for the Class of 2020. We will begin sharing plans and details for that virtual ceremony with students, parents, and staff on this page shortly.

We, like you, were saddened to receive this news. Our senior students, parents, families, and staff members deserve to celebrate their achievements together. We hope each of you realize our entire community admires your resilience in this matter.

We are committed to ensuring that the Class of 2020 leaves Camden Academy knowing how important they are to each of us and to our entire school.
