Happy Thanksgiving - Message from Dr. Conway & Link to Newsletter

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we go into Thanksgiving break, I would like to thank our community for your trust and support as we navigate this unusual school year. I hope that everyone has a safe and healthy Thanksgiving and has a chance to spend quality time with your family. This year, our Thanksgiving Food Drive was able to put together 100 Thanksgiving Baskets for Camden’s Charter School Network families, we are so grateful that our community came together to donate, purchase, assemble and distribute these baskets. Amazing things are accomplished when we work together, so thank you.

We encourage all of our students, families and staff to follow Covid-19 safety measures this holiday. You can discourage the spread of Covid-19 by washing hands, wearing masks and practicing social distancing. We care deeply about the wellbeing of each of our students and staff members. With this in mind, we are going back to an all-virtual program after Thanksgiving break, starting on Monday, November 30th and going until January 18th, 2021. Chromebook Service Hours will be available Mondays – Thursdays from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Promise Middle School 8th Grade Entrance. If you need an appointment on Friday, please coordinate with your grade level dean, team leader, or building administrator. Food service pick up will continue on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00am – 1:00pm. We are here for your student and your family, please reach out to a school social worker, team leader or building administrator if you need help throughout this second wave of Covid-19.

I would like to recognize our teachers for the amazing work they are accomplishing. When they went to college to become teachers there was no training on “How to Teach During a Pandemic” and yet they’re all taking this challenge head-on with such grace and flexibility. We are so grateful for your hard work in making sure that students are learning safely this year.

Camden’s Charter School Network has a few things up our sleeves to bring some magic this virtual learning period. We will host a Joy of Lights Drive-Thru and Holiday sing along throughout next month, more information and sign-ups coming soon!  You can click here to read this week's newsletter with important dates and resources for families.

 Happy Thanksgiving!

Sincerely,

Dr. Conway  Superintendent, Camden’s Charter School Network
