Field Trips / Assemblies

Katz Academy will operate within a Children’s Museum environment. This environment will allow for concepts to be introduced within the classroom to be further developed and processed through play, experimentation, and creation to bring about a richer understanding.

Hands-on cooperative exploratory activities are a major facet of the curriculum and are anchored by the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. These activities occur both in the classroom, as well as hands-on field trips and give the students an opportunity to learn through play and experience.

Katz Academy is continually seeking outside field trip experiences that can enhance and compliment in-school cultural and educational growth and development.
